 Miss Stephanie Lead Teacher -- All Day Program
Miss Stephanie completed her certification from the MECA Seton Training Center in Chicago. She earned her Associates in Child Development at Delta College before coming to Midland Montessori School in 2001, to work as an assistant teacher. Stephanie places her energy into creating a positive, nurturing environment where children have a joy for learning.
 Miss Sharon Lead Teacher -- All Day Program
Sharon has worked at MMS since 1993. She received her Montessori teaching certification at Adrian Dominican Montessori Teacher Education Institute in 1998. Sharon strives to provide a nuturing environment where children have many opportunities to experience the world around them and develop skills necessary for future learning.
 Miss Marilyn Lead Teacher -- Class Day and Extended Kindergarten
After nine years of substituting at a private academy Marilyn moved to the Midland area where she began working as an assistant teacher here at Midland Montessori in 1998. After completing her Montessori ceritfication she now is the lead in her own classroom and also teaches the Extended Kindergarten class. Her classrooms have an atmosphere of active individualized learning that is positive, independent, and enjoyable.
 Miss Grace Lead Teacher -- Class Day
Educated at Central New England College and the Adrian Dominican Montessori Teacher Education Institute, Grace has worked at MMS since 1995. She strives to offer a high quality Montessori environment which is stimulating to the children, peaceful, and holds a sense of community.
 Miss Marie Lead Teacher - Infant/Toddler Program
Marie is the lead teacher of the Infant/Toddler Program. Marie has worked at MMS since 1993. She began attending Meca Seton Training Center in Chicago for her Infant/Toddler education in April of 2003 and is now Montessori certified. Marie has filled the Infant/Toddler room with child size materials and furniture that allow these young individuals to be independent and successful. She and her staff want the children to freely explore their environment. As they explore, the teachers capitalize on opportunities for individual lessons.
 Miss Sarah Lead Teacher - 2/3 Community
Sarah is the lead teacher of our 2/3 yr. old Community program. Sarah began working at MMS in 2001. Attending Delta College, she studied child development and completed her Montessori Infant/Toddler training through MECA Seton Training Center in Chicago. Sarah will strive to create a home like environment that children can feel safe and confident in. By following the children's needs, she hopes to develop passionate learners and instill the love of Montessori within each child.
